I don't remember if we ever told you about how the twins that lived across the street from us in Durham called us (and still do, although they're older now), "Katie and Cantelope!" Classic. I also had a good one in Spanish when I did my junior year in Chile. After being there for several months, I realized I had been telling taxi drivers we needed to go choose (escoger) a friend instead of (more accurately) that we needed to go pick up (coger) a friend.
